An organisation which provides clearing services for a market( s). Recognition is granted by the Financial Services Authority to those clearing houses meeting its requirements under the terms of the Financial Services Act 1986. Currently The London Clearing House and CREST are RCHs. Only RCHs are able to operate as clearing houses in the UK.
